TPA celebrates Christmas!

This year, after 2 years of Covid related postponement, the annual Christmas Tree Festival has returned to St Lukes Church, Maidenhead, adjacent to the offices of TPA.

The nave of the church is lined with 60 Christmas trees, which local businesses and individuals sponsor and decorate.

Architects Sara Fontana and Win Man organized a workshop of highly skilled staff to design and produce the decorations, under the theme of ‘sustainability’.

Using office waste-paper, a team of dedicated architects has salvaged, shaped, folded and cut old drawings, to create a range of intricate decorations, each imprinted with a small part of a design or construction drawing.

The tree was decorated on 2nd December, for a festival that will run until December 5th 2021.

Each tree has a collection box, with all funds going to the Thames Valley Hospice.

If you are in Maidenhead please visit the church on St Lukes Road and make a donation at the TPA tree.

The box with the most money wins the festival prize!
