We are delighted to have been invited to two major awards this week!

Congratulations to Natasha Gandhi, who was selected as finalist for the category of "Young Property Person" at the 2021 Thames Valley Property Awards, organised by The Business Magazine at the Royal Ascot racecourse.

A huge thanks to i3Solutions who invited director Peter Thomas and Architects Sara Fontana and Win Man at the DCD Awards 2021 in London.

It was a pleasure to be at the table with colleagues at i3S, BCS and Gratte Brothers.

This year, after 2 years of Covid related postponement, the annual Christmas Tree Festival has returned to St Lukes Church, Maidenhead, adjacent to the offices of TPA.

The nave of the church is lined with 60 Christmas trees, which local businesses and individuals sponsor and decorate.

Architects Sara Fontana and Win Man organized a workshop of highly skilled staff to design and produce the decorations, under the theme of ‘sustainability’.

Using office waste-paper, a team of dedicated architects has salvaged, shaped, folded and cut old drawings, to create a range of intricate decorations, each imprinted with a small part of a design or construction drawing.

The tree was decorated on 2nd December, for a festival that will run until December 5th 2021.

Each tree has a collection box, with all funds going to the Thames Valley Hospice.

If you are in Maidenhead please visit the church on St Lukes Road and make a donation at the TPA tree.

The box with the most money wins the festival prize!

TPA Director Natasha Gandhi RIBA has been selected as a finalist in the 2021 Thames Valley Property Awards, organized by The Business Magazine.

The awards will be announced at the leading commercial property event in the region, recognising the contributions of property agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers, and dealmakers to the success of the sector.

Winners, in 18 award categories, will be revealed during a gala evening of celebrations to be held at The Pavilion, Ascot Racecourse, on 9 December 2021.

Natasha, who is a Chartered Architect, is engaged on a wide range of projects in the southeast of England, including high-end residential, commercial, community buildings and Listed Buildings.

She has been short-listed as a finalist in the ‘Young Property Person’ category.

Fingers crossed!

Natasha became a director of TP Architects in 2020 and is expanding her expertise by training to become a Conservation Architect.

She is highly organised and has used her skills to review and improve the practice operating procedures.

New software has been introduced to record and monitor projects, from initial client contact through to project completion This has ensured all our projects receive attention to detail, are completed to programme and all chargeable time is carefully recorded.

In addition to her own design and planning workload she has the role of allocating work within the practice.

For relaxations she spends the weekends renovating and extending an old house in Maidenhead with her architect husband, Ed.

We wish her every success on 9th December!
