Through a strategic relationship with Hewlett Packard Critical Facilities Services we are providing the architectural services for the feasibility study and concept design of new data centre for Kazakh Telecom. Our involvement included site assessment, feasibility studies, concept design, site supervision and continuing consultancy support.
The existing 5 storey building has been reconfigured and fitted out to accommodate Kazakh Telecom administration and offices, critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure and 2 floors of white space – total of 1000 sqm. The DC secure compound is enclosed by 4.5m high security non-climbable fence constructed with anti-ram base and monitored by motion sensitive PTZ CCTV + security level exterior lighting.
The new generators are located within a separate single storey building, each within a 2 hours fire compartment.
