Total refurbishment of tired Colonial style 4-bedroom house in Ascot, Berkshire

The size and scope of this project, exceptional client requirements and onerous planning constraints of a Conservation Area, set real challenges. This required a highly collaborative approach and the very best from architecture, interior and landscape design. The solution was a Lutyens style country house, contrasted with an open and very modern interior to meet the client’s lifestyle. The new house provides stunning accommodation. Design themes flow throughout the reception and living spaces while the basement provides recreational areas including a gymnasium and bowling alley. Everything throughout this exceptional home is bespoke and of the highest quality. Ancillary facilities include a swimming pool pavilion and a garage block and workshop. The surrounding site has been extensively re-landscaped, lending a timeless feel to the house, with terraces and decks, extensive gardens and a private five hole golf course.
